Head of Catering and Hospitality

Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) is an exciting, ambitious arts centre which offers a wide array of free exhibitions, theatre, music, cinema and comedy performances as well as creative learning and participation activities. Well-loved and well used, it’s a relaxed friendly place attracting a diverse mix of visitors.  As well as MAC our work also extends outside of the venue across the city to community settings to inspire new audiences to experience high-quality art experiences.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and commercially-focused Head of Catering and Hospitality to run our thriving catering operation. 

The successful candidate will be experienced in running a busy cafe and bar operation and a very successful conference and meeting business. They will have keen attention to detail and a commercial eye to identify new business and sales opportunities whilst maintaining excellent client relations.

The Head of Catering and Hospitality in a busy arts centre with a footfall of over 1 million needs to be motivated, quick thinking and have excellent staff management skills.

As well as a competitive salary of £29,055, we are offering the opportunity to develop your skills working within a talented and dedicated team. This is a fulltime role of 37.5 hours per week with excellent benefits, no split shifts and sensible working hours.
