Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), is an exciting, ambitious arts centre which offers a wide array of free exhibitions, theatre, music and comedy performances, plays for children and families, literature and poetry events, creative learning and participation activities and a lively cinema. Well loved and well used, it’s a relaxed friendly place, with a café and lively bar, attracting a diverse mix of users.
MAC is looking for a Sales and Marketing Officer to join our busy marketing team. This is a new role and is the only member of the marketing team exclusively creating and implementing campaigns to drive sales for MAC Trading, which delivers the catering, conferencing and retail business. The income generated by MAC Trading is vital in supporting the charity; the arts centre. Supported by the wider marketing team, the post-holder will work closely with the different trading departments to reach agreed income targets. We’re looking for someone who can identify B2B and B2C markets, shaping our product and messages to grow the business. We want an all-rounder who can work autonomously at times, be creative and ambitious. In return we offer the chance to work with a friendly team in a thriving venue.
