Senior Performing Arts Technician

Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), offers a wide array of theatre performances, music, comedy, and plays for children, literature, poetry events, creative learning and participation activities, family shows, films and free exhibitions. MAC is recruiting for a Senior Performing Arts Technician.

Experienced and professional senior technician required to lead a small team of performing arts technicians at a multi-purpose arts centre. The senior technician is responsible for technical services relating to productions, performances and live events in the centre. Duties will include scheduling of staff, liaising with companies, operating and maintaining lighting, sound, stage and AV equipment in a variety of performance spaces.

 This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain management experience in all aspects of theatre production; MAC hosts a diverse and exciting range of Theatre work across several performance spaces. The contract is based on a 37.5 hour week and includes a generous holiday allowance.
