Bristol Archives: Ann Ruel Interview

Listen to a series of interviews with the people that have selected objects within the exhibition Bristol Archives: Empire Through the Lens. The interviewees discuss their object choices, and reflect upon themes within the exhibition.

Ann Ruel, wife of anthropologist Malcolm Ruel, talks about the image Ma Ngo, photographed by her husband, Kenya/Tanzania, 1958.

Please note that the exhibition and interviews contain challenging themes and content some listeners may find upsetting.
