About Rainbow Menopause

This new short film explores the impact of menopause on LGBTQIA+ people, bringing together individuals with lived experience, and clinicians to identify the need for more inclusive conversations and support.

Participants represent different aspects of the LGBTQIA+ community and share their own personal stories to show that everyone’s experience of menopause is different. Clinicians talk about the impact of hormones and self-care. All hope that sharing their experiences and individual stories will help more people to understand that menopause needs to be inclusive of everyone.

The screening will be followed by a live onstage panel discussion.

Tickets are free, but booking is essential.

Rainbow Menopause was brought together by Menopause Inclusion Collective with the support of Iris in the Community. Menopause Support in and out of the Workplace are delighted to bring Rainbow Menopause to Birmingham with funding from the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Fund, a joint initiative run by the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and the UK Health Security Agency.
