About Acting and Performance (Summer)

Learn acting and performance skills and techniques to develop your confidence in front of an audience.

What will you learn on this course?

This course covers a wide range of acting and performance skills and techniques, including improvisation, devising, and script work. You’ll explore the work of a range of different practitioners including Meisner, Artaud, Brecht, and Stanislavsky.

The course will work toward a final showcase performance which is open to the public, allowing you to test out and demonstrate your newly developed skills to family and friends in a supportive atmosphere.

Who is this course for?

This course is for adults aged 18+ years. It is suitable for anyone who would like to improve their confidence and develop their performance skills. No previous acting experience is necessary.

This course may be accessible for people with disabilities. The room is wheelchair accessible. A support worker or carer may assist; carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending to provide support. Please contact us to discuss your specific accessibility needs.
