Our Current Giving Campaigns

Individual Giving Campaigns 2018

Thank you for your interest in MAC’s work.  If you share our passion for arts and creativity for all, please support us today. The much-valued support of our donors enables MAC to sustain and develop our activities, especially for those with the least ability to engage with the charity’s work. This year, we are currently fundraising for the following projects:

The A Team Volunteers

A stands for access: The A Team volunteers help keep MAC a welcoming space for everyone to participate in the arts:  Some participants need a little extra help during their visit, so we are creating a group of volunteer buddies to make everyone’s time spent at MAC accessible, comfortable and enjoyable. Your donation will fund specialist training to enable our volunteers to be matched with visitors with a range of additional needs, including those living with dementia; social isolation; a recent bereavement; physical access barriers and social isolation.

Installing Cinema Equipment in our Hexagon Theatre

MAC wishes to install cinema equipment in our Hexagon Theatre to extend our film programme and increase our affordable screen offer to young people with the least opportunity to engage.  The project will also us to extend our capacity for sell-out screenings in our Cinema and Theatre spaces.

Gift a Ticket 2018

We are asking our customers to consider giving an extra present once again this Christmas, to help MAC and our community partners introduce local children to the joy of live theatre.

We are seeking donations to help fund free tickets to our Christmas production, Rudolf, for children who otherwise wouldn’t get to see the show. The donations received will enable MAC – a registered charity, to give a magical gift to remember.

We are hoping to raise enough money to gift tickets to hundreds of local children.  Last year, our generous customers donated over £4,000 to the Gift a Ticket campaign, which meant that together we could gift tickets to over 300 children and their families.

"I have never been to the theatre before.  The show was amazing.  I have never seen anything like this.  My son has special needs but he was engaged and entertained throughout the performance.  Thank you so much, I would not have been able to come if it wasn't for the gifted tickets".

Subsidised Places on summer holiday music-making courses

MAC is seeking donations to help fund subsidised places on our summer holiday music-making courses for disabled children; introducing them to the joy of artistic expression and developing their musical abilities.

Thank you for your support of MAC’s work.

All donations are matched pound for pound by the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
