Presented in partnership with Kaleidoscope
Before there was Monty Python, there was…well, a bunch of other TV shows with Idle, Chapman, Gilliam, Palin, Jones and Cleese in. The six core members of the Python gang produced a whole lot of television both before and after their best known creation took over the comedy world, hence this special evening of random delights. Delve into the wide and varied televisual beginnings of the Pythons, including an unseen Terry Gilliam interview and a full showing of Jake’s Journey - the rarely seen final work from the late Graham Chapman about a teenage boy who time travels to the Middle Ages.
