London-based artist Sharon Walters will be joined in conversation with British-Nigerian curator, writer and educator Péju Oshin, discussing Sharon's unique practice, her solo exhibition Seeing Ourselves, plus the artist's exciting upcoming events and projects.

Free to attend, everyone is welcome.

Sharon Walters has over 20 years of experience working with marginalised communities. Over the past four years, she has developed her practice of creating handmade composite images by cutting, gluing and manipulating one or more pictures into dimensional portraits. Sharon has regularly worked in partnership with a number of prestigious organisations including the National Maritime Museum and Soho House, London.

For the Seeing Ourselves exhibition brochure, Péjú Oshin was commissioned to write an introductory essay on Sharon's practice and artworks, reflecting on what it means to 'see yourself' - collect your free copy on-site.

This Artist Talk will be BSL interpreted by Selina Jacques-King and Layne Whittaker.
