Event Information

Every respectable wizard or witch has to have their companion by their side. With just a few magical supplies and a spell you can bring to life your favourite animal or mystic creature and have them follow you wherever you go!

What will you learn on this course?

This is a fun one-day workshop where children will explore the craft of puppetry by building their own puppet...with a magical twist!

With individual support from the tutor, the children will be guided through the process of designing and constructing their puppets out of crafty materials such as felt, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks and accessories such as beads and pom poms. After the puppets are finished, the children will have the opportunity to create a short individual performance where they will introduce their “familiar” to the group.

They will be able to take their finished puppet home at the end of the day.

The course is designed to encourage creativity, imagination, teamwork and build confidence whilst having fun!
