Event Information

Sat 19 June  2021 | 1pm - 6pm | Outdoor Theatre | Free event (unticketed)

MAC is excited to be working in partnership with CSB for one of our first live events in over a year! Join us as we venture back to live performances to celebrate Refugee Week 2021.

This year's theme is “We Cannot Walk Alone” and calls for people from different backgrounds and causes to stand together and support one another.

With live performances by local and international artists, the Festival is a great opportunity to find out more about community engagement with refugees and the organisations and campaigns that offer support to them.

The day will be presented by acclaimed TV, film and theatre actor Patrice Naiambana, originally from Sierra Leone.  The day includes performances by Germa Adan (Haiti), Nifeco Costa (Guinea Bissau), Kausary (Peru), Bumi Thomas (Scotland - Nigeria).

See the full schedule and line up for the day here. Entrance to the Outdoor Theatre will be via the doors facing Cannon Hill Park.

This is a free event in MAC's Outdoor Theatre. Please note that capacity is limited in line with current government guidelines. Tickets will be allocated upon entry (on a first come first served basis) and all visitors are required to provide contact details upon arrival to facilitate NHS Test and Trace. Please read our Visitor Guidelines before your visit.
