Celebrate Mexico's Día De Los Muertos by making a spooky paper mache mask. Decorate with fluorescent paints and see your work glow under UV light. We'll even add miniature LED lights to create an unearthly illumination!
What will you learn on this course?
MAC’s fun one-day workshops are designed for children to explore a range of creative activities including visual arts, crafts, digital media and performance. All the workshops are for the same age range and offer an introduction to a particular art form. The children can usually take home anything they have made during the day.
In this workshop children will design, draw and paint Day of the Dead themed masks, working with ultra violet responsive paint and fluorescent papers and other materials as well as LED lights. Their art work will become transformed in the dark with UV lighting in a controlled and safe environment.
Who is this course for?
