Learn how to create your own bass-lines and beats and produce your first track.
What will you learn on this course?
mac Explorers are fun one-day workshops designed for children to explore a range of creative activities including visual arts, crafts, digital media and performance. All the workshops are for the same age range and offer an introduction to a particular art form. The children can usually take home anything they have made during the day.
In this Digital Music Making children will learn how to create their own bass-lines and beats. With support from the tutor, the children will be guided through the process of making their own musical composition in mac's dedicated media studio. This will include learning how to create basic arrangements and understanding song structure. They will learn technical skills such as recording midi, recording audio and programming beats. The media studio is equipped with Apple Mac computers, microphones and mid keyboards all ready to help them write their first hit record.
