What will you learn on this course?
This course is an opportunity to explore how textiles artists might approach making and using a sketchbook. It is particularly suited to anyone who is making textile art or considering attending a textiles course and anyone interested in exploring a slightly different approach to making a sketchbook.

The purpose of this course is to encourage you to experiment freely with an abundance of inspiration.  You will learn to use different paint effects and decorative elements including printing, collage, markel sticks, rubbings, foiling, re-assembling, stencilling, layering, manipulating. You will look at how to enhance your work by looking at scale and repetition to create a beautiful selection of unique pages for your sketchbook.
