What will you learn on this course?
This one-day course is a chance for families to enjoy learning about film-making together.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for children aged 6-11 years to enjoy learning with a parent, grandparent or guardian. It is open to beginners and improvers. You don’t need any previous experience as full instruction and guidance is given. For those who have some photography experience this is a chance to practice your skills and learn some new techniques.
The course is accessible for people with disabilities as families will be working together and can provide support. The room is wheelchair accessible.
Age ranges are set carefully to take into account key age developments, materials being used and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages and therefore need to be adhered to.
Do you need to bring anything?
You are welcome to bring along your own smart phones, iPads or other filming/recording equipment. Some equipment will be available to use at MAC.
Are there any additional costs?
The course fee covers one child and one adult. There is a charge for each additional person (adult or child). There must be one adult for every three children.
