Who is this course for?
This course is for adults aged 18+. This short course is for adults aged 18+ years. It is open to beginners and is suitable for those who have no prior experience of mindfulness or meditation
The course includes Tai Chi which is a low impact form of exercise.
The course is accessible for people with limited mobility as they can sit down to do some of the exercises and movements are undertaken within the comfort, capability range and limitations of each individual’s body.
What will you learn on this course?
This short course will provide an introduction to four aspects of wellbeing
Chi Gung Breathing Techniques
Resilience and self-awareness
Meditation techniques to increase health and wellbeing and how to relax
The classes will include breathing exercises, meditation, relaxation techniques, some partnered working and some simple movement such as walking.
What are the benefits of this course?
The course is aimed at providing time out for you, to enable a space to reduce your stress and help you gain greater resilience. You will experience meditation through movement and breathing, which will help improve your balance, body co-ordination and mental well-being.
