Use a variety of materials and techniques to design, create and decorate your own spooky- yet friendly, giant ghost sculpture!
What will you learn on this course?
Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with a range of materials including lots and lots of tissue paper, cardboard and craft materials to design, create and decorate their very own giant ghost on this one-day course. Just in time for Halloween, the children will get to take their creation home and spook everyone in the house with their giant friend.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for children aged 8-12 years. It is open to all ability levels and children don’t need previous experience. Parents are not expected to accompany children on these courses. All our staff are DBS checked. The course is accessible for children of all abilities who can participate in practical art and craft activities. We provide a learning support worker and a parent or carer may assist their child if additional support is required. Carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending a course to provide support. The room is wheelchair accessible. Age ranges are set carefully to take into account key age developments, materials being used and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages and therefore need to be adhered to.
Do you need to bring anything?
All course materials and equipment are provided. Children should dress appropriately as some of the visual art workshops can get messy.
