Are you interested in creating your own bars or rap lyrics? Then Rap Camp is a great way for you to develop your skills and create original authentic Hip-Hop music.
What will you learn on this course?
During this three day camp children will be given a chance to explore the fun, positive side to lyric writing with topics and content based on their own interests and hobbies.
They will learn about the origins of Hip-Hop, explore lyrical structure, timing and performance techniques and then create their own original hip-hop music.
The course will give participants a chance to create Hip-Hop beats with the use of iMACs and drum machines, and learn music production Students on this course can expect to develop their song writing and composition skills in a fun and creative environment.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years. It is open to all ability levels you don’t need previous experience. Parents are not expected to accompany young people on these courses. All our staff are DBS checked.
The course is accessible for young people of all abilities. A learning support worker is provided and a parent or carer may assist the young person if required. Carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending a course to provide support. The room is wheelchair accessible.
Age ranges are set carefully to take into account key age developments, materials being used and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages and therefore need to be adhered to.
