Spend a day exploring one of the greatest novels ever written! Enjoy extracts, clips from famous film adaptations and group discussions - but most of all the aim of the day is to celebrate and share enjoyment of wonderful fiction.

Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for adults aged 18+ years. It is open to beginners and improvers. Previous experience not essential, but enjoyment of fiction and drama is a good background to participation on this course

The course is accessible for people of all abilities as a support worker or carer may assist. Carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending a course to provide support. The room is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

What will you learn on this course?
Spend a day exploring one of the greatest novels ever written! Enjoy looking at extracts and sharing clips from famous film adaptations –and discussing why this book has had such universal appeal since it was first published in 1847. We will re-visit the narrative by reading key passages aloud and reflect on the different psychological and social interpretations of the themes- but most of all the aim of the day is to celebrate and share enjoyment of wonderful fiction.

Do you need to bring anything?
Please bring something to write with and a notebook if preferred, loose leaf paper will be provided.

Are there any additional costs?
There are no additional costs apart from any preferred writing/note materials.
