What will you learn on this course?
Spend a day exploring a classic which for a long time has been overlooked- not least because her sister Charlotte suppressed publication following Anne’s death. In many ways, a shocking book- with a study of alcoholism and domestic violence well ahead of its time.
We will read key passages aloud and reflect on the different psychological and social interpretations of the themes- but most of all the aim of the day is to celebrate and share enjoyment of wonderful fiction.
Do you need to bring anything?
Please bring something to write with and a notebook if preferred, loose leaf paper will be provided.
Are there any additional costs?
There are no additional costs apart from any preferred writing/note materials.
