This time, the elves will be making the toys for themselves! Learn the basics of sewing and create your own cuddly festive friend from scratch.
What will you learn on this course?
On this fun one-day workshop, participants will get to create a festive friend! They have the choice between making a snowman, a penguin, or a gingerbread toy.
The children will go through the process of cutting and following a pattern. They will learn different stitching techniques and get creative with decorating and personalising their new toy.
The aim of this course is to teach basic sewing principles, nurture creativity and build the children’s confidence in their own skills and abilities.
The tutor will carefully demonstrate each step of the process and assist the children to ensure that everyone’s needs are met.
