This February half term, MAC Makes Music is hosting a 3-day creative music-making workshop for young people between the ages of 11-16 years with additional needs including but not limited to: special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health issues.
The workshop is suitable for those with all levels of musical ability, from beginners to the more advanced and parents/carers are encouraged to join in!
Participants can look forward to:
- Meeting other young people from across the region
- Playing the drums, guitar, piano and many more instruments
- Experimenting with music technology
- Composing new music and having fun!
We have a limited number of spaces available for FREE. Places will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Carers/parents must be present to accompany participants and provide any personal care needed during the sessions.
- Thursday 21 February, 2 - 5pm
- Friday 22 February, 10 - 2pm
- Saturday 23 February, 2 - 5pm
