MAC Makes Music is our award-winning programme that provides innovative and inclusive music making opportunities for children and young people with limited access to music.

On Saturday 6 March, MAC Makes Music will be holding another Virtual Open Mic event inviting young performers aged 13-25* with additional needs to share live or pre-recorded performances in a friendly, supportive environment.

  • 6 places, first come first served
  • 5 minutes per performer

*This event is aimed young performers aged 13-25 with additional needs but if you have a younger child who would like to take part, please email Jen Loffman jen.loffman@macbirmingham.co.uk 

How to Get Involved

Email Jen or call Holly with the following details:

1. Name of performer

2. Age of performer

3. Name of song or piece of music

4. Is this live or pre-recorded?

 We will then send you the Zoom link and password.

Requirements

  • A laptop, phone or device with WiFi, as the session will be on Zoom
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Please sit in a suitable, quiet environment
