Create a miniature garden using paper and a range of textiles techniques and materials.
What will you learn on this course?
Join us on this fun one-day workshop where children will learn how to create a mixed media, miniature garden. We will begin by making drawings taking inspiration from plants and flowers. Participants will then use paper and a range of specialist textiles techniques to create a garden scene. Some of the techniques covered in this workshop include applique techniques, padding, embroidery stitches, simple transfer printing and sewing.
Everyone will leave with their miniature garden artwork to take home and show off to their family and friends.
