The life of a high society school teacher is shattered when her beloved nanny inexplicably disappears. Josh is a social and emotional drama following the schoolteacher’s search for a dangerous truth in the nanny’s feudal village. This empowering film, starring Aamina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza, tackles themes of class separation, feudalism, poverty, individual empowerment and women’s rights head on and takes no prisoners en route.
The screening will be a followed by a Q&A with director Iram Parveen Bilal.
