This course offers an opportunity to make retro and vintage inspired craft items inspired by the season.

The MAC will run multiple 5-week courses in which the themes of the sessions are in line with the time of year.

Get retro crafty in time for the holidays. From a vintage style Christmas wreath, table centre piece or retro garlands to decorate your home for a taste of the past this winter.

Fall in love with Vintage Valentine cushions, create your own retro doorstops and more spring themed vintage crafting.

Plan, design and create a unique textile wall hanging inspired by your own happy memories.

The course will introduce you to creative thinking and designing whilst inspiring you to craft with positive praise. The tutor will provide practical demonstrations of how to make various items such as a wreath, a table centrepiece and Christmas garland and cards, and will support your learning, and provide one-to-one support as required.

On completion of this course you will have produced multiple retro inspired holiday themed crafts to use this festive season.

Do you need to bring anything?

All materials will be provided but you are welcome to discuss with the tutors any materials you would like to bring in. Items could include buttons, wool and other fabric.
