Classical and contemporary Indian dance intertwine in this dynamic double bill, which features the most exciting young talent in South Asian dance alongside live musicians.
TRI tells a story of love and devotion through a series of solos and emotive duets by the captivating Bharatanatyam dancer Anaya Bolar and Kathak artist Shyam Dattani (both BBC Young Dancer stars), who put a fresh spin on classical Indian dance.
In EKA, the entrancing trio of Anaya, Emiko Jane Ishii and Kesha Raithatha convey female unity and strength. Through mesmerising movement, the piece imagines the Hindu goddesses of learning, wealth and power in a modern world.
