A fifth anniversary rerelease of Andre Semenza and Fernanda Lippi’s beautiful, heart-breaking and ground-breaking dance performance film. A rhythmically captivating exploration of love and loss at the fin de siècle about an amorous relationship between two women abruptly cut short. Dissolving under the impact of the loss of her soulmate, the surviving lover is drawn into the depths of mid-winter forests, into spheres of the subconscious, initiated by unknown forces. There is no return.
This screening will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with co-directors André Semenza and Fernanda Lippi.
