Returning to this year’s festival is the annual SHOUT OUT community event. Taking over mac’s public spaces to bring you a programme of fun filled public arts activities and all for free! Come along and listen to some incredible music from Faye Bagley, Esther Turner and the Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra, get involved with a badge and zine making workshop, watch an incredible selection of short films specially selected by Flatpack Film Festival in the Cinema, hear some brilliant inclusive children’s stories from Drag Queen Ginny Lemon, and experience a stellar line up of acoustic artists curated by UNMUTED including the phenomenal Zara Sykes. Throughout the day there will also be a chance to see our wonderful new exhibition We Often Find It Necessary To Keep Our Homosexuality Quiet of documentary photography of the Gay Liberation Front in the 1970s including free snapshot exhibition tours!

It’s free, it’s queer, there’s no need to book, just come along and join us!
