Calling all creative kids!
If you love making art and being crafty, if you want to learn about drama and putting on a show but want to have fun then this is the course for you. Come and try out a session.
What you will learn on this course
The course is designed to ensure children learn lots of new art, craft and drama skills whilst having lots of fun and making new friends.
Each week the children will learn about different art and crafts, how to make puppets and bring them to life, how to devise a performance and how to make costumes and a stage set.
The course will help to create confidence, wellbeing, social skills and resilience in your child.
All the activities will be adapted to fit the children’s needs and personalities.
Weather permitting, some sessions will be in Cannon Hill park or MAC’s new pocket garden, a chance to get out, enjoy the fresh air and get inspired by nature.
At the end of the term, the group will put together a performance showcasing everything they have created and discovered throughout the course!
Every session will begin with fun drama exercises and a warmup, will have a special crafty make such as a Who am I notebook, make a Kids Stress Kit, puppets, costume and prop making, and creating a performance.
