In a galaxy far, far away… in the eternity of space, days are long… but time is short. Be resourceful & combine your inventory to escape the Sith by inventing a brand new Star Fighter before The Empire Strikes Brick!

What will you learn on this course?

This is a fun 1-day workshop designed for children to explore a range of creative activities that include visual arts, crafts, story making and 3D building with Lego™ .  

Using specially acquired Lego™ parts children will help Legoland-o Calrissian & Jar Jar Bricks defeat the dark side by building a little droid with a big heart; learn to team-work like Han & Chewie to build a new resistance planet and push their design skills to the farthest reaches of the galaxy and build a Speeder to outpace the Death Star’s lasers!

You will take home a Star Wars™ mini-figure & Micro-Fighter. Upon completion of your Jedi training, you will also design your own custom-made mini-figure scale lightsaber.

Who is this course for?

Children will start the day using imagery to design their own Star Wars™ characters to add to the Star Wars™ universe which – over the course of the day - will become a completed illustrated profile featuring the character’s home planet and designated spaceship.

This course is suitable for children aged 6 to 11 years. It is open to all ability levels and children don’t need previous experience. Parents are not expected to accompany children on these courses. All our staff are DBS checked.

The course is accessible for children of all abilities who can participate in practical art and craft activities. We can provide a learning support worker and a parent or carer may assist their child if required. The room is wheelchair accessible. Carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending a course to provide support.

Age ranges are set carefully to take into account key age developments, materials being used and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages and therefore need to be adhered to.

Challenges may require team work and competitive elements, please consider this when deciding your child’s suitability for this course.
