Event Information

Francis Ford Coppola's Academy Award-winning masterpiece is set in the 1940s and opens at the lavish wedding of Connie, the daughter of the revered Godfather - Don Corleone (Marlon Brando), an event where business and pleasure naturally go hand in hand.

Depicting the importance of family life in modern society, this classic film is both about a father and his sons, and questions of power and succession. This screening is a 4K presentation, allowing a true classic of cinema to be shown in beautifully remastered digital clarity.

MAC’s reopening cinema programme has been generously supported by BFI FAN Covid-19 Resilience fund from the National Lottery, through the BFI Film Audience Fund.
