An Edwardian family must leave their comfortable London home and move to Yorkshire after their father is taken away by the authorities in Lionel Jeffries’ beloved family film. Despite their reduced circumstances, they soon find plenty of fun and adventure in the countryside – specifically in the vicinity of the steam-train railway line.
