Event Information

Spend 2 days learning how to create a Virtual Reality film using 360 degree cameras. Learn all about film making equipment and devise a short film that can be viewed via your smart phone, google cardboard or a VR headset.

What will you learn on this course?

This course looks at the new phenomenon of 360 degree film making, action filming and how those videos can be accessible on You Tube and viewed via google cardboard or other basic VR headsets.

The tutor will introduce students to basic VR film making, explore filming equipment that works with panoramic lenses and how to use editing software and apps to knit the films together. The tutor will also introduce learners to other experimental analogue methods.

The key to this course is that there is more to creativity than just cool ideas. You’ll learn team work, communication, problem solving and perseverance. By the end of the day you will have the skills and confidence you need to go out and start making your own films.

Do you need to bring anything?
