Event Information

With a focus on children’s literature, advance your writing, re-drafting and editing skills whilst gaining an understanding of how to become your own critic for continued development.

What will you learn on this course?

In these sessions, you will look at works from all the very different age ranges in children’s literature, and attempt to write for all these different categories while also learning tips and more advanced techniques to improve your work and make it the best it can be.

This course will bring some fun into creative writing. Classes may involve some group work and collaborative writing and students will have the opportunity to share their work and receive feedback.

By the end of the course everyone will have several pieces of their own writing which have been generated in response to tutor topics and techniques along with hand-outs on these topics for further consideration and development.
