Do you have a passion for being in front of the camera? Would you like to learn how to present your own YouTube vlogs or simply how to make better videos for Snap Chat, InstaTV or Facebook live then this is the course for you. Guided by an experienced professional television presenter you will gain confidence and knowledge of how to be a presenter and be filled with creative show ideas.

What will you learn on this course?

This course will cover

  • Warm up and name breaker techniques
  • Learn how to talk about yourself to others
  • Building your confidence
  • Learn how to present to camera
  • Learn how to self-tape with you own devices successfully
  • How to present different genres (a selection of the following depending on time)
    • Children's television
    • News presenting
    • Interviewing – MTV
    • Shopping and sales
    • Social media that may include YouTube, InstaTV and Facebook live

The participants will gain confidence and knowledge of how to be a presenter, and be filled with creative show ideas.

The Tutor will guide with presenting techniques, educate on training and share skills to be an advantage in a very competitive industry.

Who is this course for?

This course is open to young people aged 10-17 years old of any experience level.

The course is accessible for people with disabilities. We provide a learning support worker or students may be accompanied by their own carer or support worker.

The room is wheelchair accessible. Carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending to provide support. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation and needs.

Do you need to bring anything?

All equipment and materials are provided.  Students will be filmed and you must confirm permissions at the time of booking.

Are there any additional costs?

No additional costs unless there are specific resources that students wish to have for themselves.
