You will spend a day creating 2 atmospheric short films at MAC and in Cannon Hill Park, you will develop new skills in filmmaking and acting and pursue your own exciting, creative ideas based on the theme of ‘Taking A Moment’. The films you will create will be screened in MAC’s Outdoor Theatre late August.
What will you learn on this course?
This course will give you an insight into the process, techniques and skills involved in making short films. This special workshop will focus on the theme of ‘taking a moment’ a chance to breathe and be reflective on the past year.
You will work in small groups, and you will have the option to work as a writer, actor, director and crew member learning a range of film making skills. The tutor will guide the group through the process from the initial generation of ideas generation to shooting and editing. There will be a special screening of the work produced on the course in MAC’s Outdoor Theatre as part of the Holiday Activities and Food – Bring it on Brum scheme.
