This autumn Ampersand Projects, in partnership with MAC present Green Lungs, a project that introduces recently settled refugees to the city’s green spaces through creative activity. The exhibition presents new work created collaboratively by participants and artists which explores their experiences in the landscape. Discover the project through sound, video, photography, and participant's written words in this exhibition.
Green Lungs builds meaningful and prolonged connections between refugees and Birmingham's urban green spaces that will last beyond this project, creating a legacy that participants can share with their family, friends and community.
The Green Lungs project has worked in partnership with MAC, St Chad's Sanctuary and Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust.
