This spring mac birmingham’s Next Gen programme presents an exhibition by Regular Associates, a visual and interactive design collective based at Birmingham Metropolitan College’s FEED Studio.
The aim of the exhibition is to reinforce a career in the arts for young people who have been disheartened for whatever reason, celebrating the capacity of creativity to incite positive social change. Through a visual step-by-step guide of how art can change the world using examples throughout history, ‘How To Change The World’ showcases how incredible and important art is; how diverse it is and how endless the possibilities if as individuals if they continue down a creative pathway.
Through a combination of graphic installation and an accompanying publication Regular Associates will takeover mac’s Cinema Corridor, giving a multi-modal insight into the hopes, dreams and fears of today’s creative youth.
