Now showing in the Hub at mac birmingham, an exhibition and film documenting the recent Interactivos? Birmingham project and seminar which took place in June at mac. Artists and technologists worked together collaboratively over a two week period to develop interactive digital media prototypes.
Contributors to the exhibition include: Cham Athwal (Birmingham, UK); Javier Cruz (Chile); Rafaelo Fernandes de Carvalho (Brazil); Anaisa Franco (Germany); Divya Kasturi (Stevenage, UK); Ivan Petkov (Austria); Alberto Rivero (Spain) and whoun (aka Juan Cedenilla).
The Interactivos? model was created by Medialab-Prado as a hybrid between a production workshop, a seminar and a showcase, providing a space for reflection, research and collaboration. Interactivos? Birmingham was led by Birmingham City University in partnership with Medialab-Prado, sampad, mac birmingham and BBC Birmingham.
