Since 1962 MAC has provided opportunities for people from all backgrounds to access and, most importantly, make art. The Made @ MAC exhibitions are an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the creative talents of both the Artist Tutors who teach the courses and the hundreds of people who take part.
MAC’s courses are run by a talented team of professional Artist Tutors. We have over 80 tutors who in 2018 delivered 1200 courses to 4,850 participants! In addition to teaching at MAC the majority of tutors also run their own practices and businesses creating art. We are always on the lookout for new tutors who can expand our range of courses and this exhibition showcases tutors who have joined us recently. The new courses on offer cover everything from motion graphics to ceramics wheelwork, dance to silver jewellery design; there really is something for everyone with courses for adults and young people.
Showcased in the exhibition are art works kindly on loan from our tutors, some of them are for sale. If you would like to purchase any of the works please visit Sales & information on the ground floor.
