- Improvements in music making activity - Participants, music leaders and parents/carers recognise an improvement in participants’ chosen area of music making activity - this could include: instrumental, singing, composition, improvisation, performance, technology.
- Formal qualifications - Participants achieve formal recognition of musical skills, for example through gaining Arts Award or other qualifications.
- Expression through music - Participants feel more able to express themselves through music.
- Musical styles, genres and cultures - Improvement in young people’s knowledge of different musical styles, genres and cultures.
