mac birmingham ranked 51st out of 250 most influential Twitter accounts in WM

mac birmingham was ranked 51st out of 250 Most Influential Twitter accounts in the West Midlands recently. The data, highlighted in the Birmingham Mail last week (w/e 9 Aug) was compiled by social media analysts Lissted using a complex system analysing hundreds of millions of Twitter relationships over three years to find those with the greatest ability to influence. Concentrating on the top two million accounts, there are 250,000 based in the UK with approximately 15,000 from the West Midlands. The data cuts out ‘noisy’ tweeters who are very active but have very little impact. See the list here

mac has over 42,000 active followers, a growth that has been rising steadily since re-opening in 2010.
