An Update from Deborah Kermode, MAC CEO & Artistic Director

Fri 16 July 2021

We thank everyone who has visited us at MAC already and hope to see more of our lovely visitors soon. In light of the recent Government announcement to lift certain COVID-19 restrictions on 19 July, we will be updating our Visitor Guidelines at MAC in effect from next week. These will be published on Monday 19 July.

Until then, our current Visitor Guidelines remain in place.

We want our everyone to feel safe and comfortable at MAC including visitors, artists and staff and will be taking a sensible, responsible approach over the next few months. We will continue to hold events over summer at less than full capacity. MAC will keep enhanced cleaning measures in place, strongly encourage visitors to wear face coverings and socially distance where possible, and carefully manage the number of people at our venue.

As well as KILN café, we now have a daily takeaway offer available at the Express Till, selling salads, sandwiches, snacks and drinks. MAC's Kiosk in the park under the Outdoor Theatre will be open for refreshments at weekends.

KILN is open for bookings until 5.30pm and serving hot food until 6pm. After this time, KILN will be serving bar snacks, mezze boards, desserts and drinks until 8pm.

Thank you for your continued support for our arts charity, and keep an eye on your inbox and our website in the next few weeks for further information.
