For the past 3 years, mac has been a partner venue for Fevered Sleep's Future Play research project. Future Play aims to build new audiences for innovative touring performance for children; identifying barriers to the creation of high quality, widely available work, and providing practical solutions to create change in this field.
As well as hosting their touring Future Play productions, we work with Fevered Sleep on audience development, digital communication, relationships with schools and nurseries, audience profiling and evaluation in order to build case studies surrounding their tours to benefit and transform children's theatre in the UK.
Our continuing relationship with Fevered Sleep focuses this year on their production of Dusk, showing at mac in October 2014.
Just wanted to congratulate you on a fantastic show. I thought that it really celebrated the 3-‐4 year old world, play, wonder, sophistication…I thought the show was brilliant, definitely the best I’ve seen, both for my son and myself!
Fevered Sleep offers a lesson in how companies creating work for the very young are producing some truly sensational theatre
