About Creative Drama (CH05 Summer)

Unlock your creative imagination and watch your confidence grow by exploring the wide world of drama!

What will you learn on this course?

On this weekly course, children will learn to embrace and develop their creativity while learning various dramatic principles, theatre, and puppetry elements.

The tutor will encourage an atmosphere where young people feel comfortable exploring their imagination and growing their performance skills through fun exercises and theatre games.

The main aim of this course is to develop a set of skills that can be used both inside and outside of the theatre. This includes skills such as improvisation, movement, problem solving, group work, and public speaking. Learning these skills will help participants grow confidence and has a long-lasting impact on young peoples’ lives.

The tutor works closely with the group in order to create a happy and safe space while also providing stimulus for the playful exploration of ideas.
