Keep creativity open to everyone

Every day, people come to MAC to make, learn, watch, perform, connect and spend time together.

As an independent charity, we believe everyone should be able to experience the arts, whatever their background, age or ability to pay. Our building is open to visitors every day, with free exhibitions alongside affordable courses, cinema, performances and community activity.

Your support helps us keep creativity accessible and create opportunities for people and artists across Birmingham.

Why your support matters

MAC works hard to generate its own income, with 68% raised through our arts and trading activity. But earned income alone cannot fund everything our charity provides.

Donations help us keep exhibitions free and creative activities affordable, create opportunities for children and communities and provide paid work for artists.

Whether you give £5 or £500, your support helps make creativity part of everyday life.

What your donation makes possible

£5 could help keep creativity accessible
Helping us provide free and affordable ways for people to experience the arts.

£15 could help a child get creative
Contributing towards materials, equipment and supported creative opportunities.

£30 could help an artist make new work
Supporting artist fees, creative development and opportunities to share work with audiences.

£50 could help keep arts experiences free
Helping us bring exhibitions, workshops and community activity to more people.

A monthly gift helps us plan ahead
Regular support helps us keep activities affordable and invest in artists and communities over the long term.

In Your Words

'I feel like I’m proving you can do creative things at any age. I have made so many new friends and it gives me a new lease of life.'
Participant, MAC Creative Workshop

'Unfortunately, we wouldn’t have free access to these music sessions anywhere else. We love it here and MAC gives my children a place to feel safe and happy.'
Parent, Community Outreach Project

Your donation helps create more stories like these.
