Support Us

Help us keep the arts open to all.

At Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), we believe creativity should be accessible to everyone - no matter your background, age, or ability to pay. As an independent charity based in the heart of Birmingham, we rely on the generosity of people like you to make this possible.

Your support powers a vibrant, welcoming space where, each year:

  • 24 free exhibitions spark curiosity for over 250,000 people

  • We collaborate with 777 artists

  • Over 12,000 people enjoy our free, joyful community events

  • 1,400 children and young people take part in inclusive music-making

  • We keep our ticket prices affordable - our average ticket price is £9.23!

Why Your Support Matters

As a registered arts charity, every workshop, every exhibition, every opportunity to engage someone in creativity is made possible through donations, grants, and supporters.

Every pound you give makes a difference.

£15 could pay for a ticket for a child who is facing barriers to attending MAC£25 could subsidise a creative course for a young person£100 could support an emerging artist to develop their practice in MAC Studios£500 could support the development of a brand new major exhibition, free to the public£2,500 could fund a full year of music-making/recording studio sessions with vulnerable young people.

"Unfortunately, we wouldn’t have free access to these music sessions anywhere else. We love it here and MAC gives my children a place to feel safe and happy."
