Home Ed (Primary Age)

Join us for our autumn term of workshops supporting creative learning for home educated children aged 7 - 11 and their families.

Hosted by artist tutor Layla Tutt, these textiles workshops will explore felting and weaving techniques in an engaging and creative learning environment. These workshops are also suitable for families following their own learning journey offering open ended creativity.

• Week 1 | Weaving: Participants will make their own weaving looms and create woven fabric using colourful wool.
• Week 2 | Wet Felting: Participants will use the process of wet-felting to create a piece of felt material.
• Week 3 | Needle-Felting: Participants will learn the process of needle-felting to decorate their wet-felted fabric and/or make 3D pieces.

Parents are expected to accompany and support children throughout the workshops.
