About Print Camp (CSC227)

Learn to create wonderful printed art works, explore how a printing press works and print your own masterpieces in this fun two-day camp!

What will you learn on this course?

On this camp, children will be introduced to the wonderful world of printmaking and learn two brilliant printmaking processes, one with, and one without a print press. The tutor will introduce a range of techniques including monoprint and collagraph printing, and help participants to use these processes to create their own unique prints!

Children on this course will have the opportunity to learn all about how a printing press works, and watch their work be printed by the course tutor.

Participants will work from images, or use their own imagination to create their own printed masterpieces, and by the end of the day will have made up to 5 unique prints to take home.

Who is this course for?

The course is accessible for children of all abilities who can participate in practical art and craft activities. A parent or carer may attend to assist the child if required; carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending to provide support. Please contact us to discuss your specific access needs. The room is wheelchair accessible.

Age ranges are set carefully to consider key age developments, materials being used and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages and therefore need to be adhered to.
