About Public Speaking (PE05 Summer)

Overcome your fears and find your unique voice with our Public Speaking course. Specially tailored for individuals seeking to elevate their public speaking abilities, this course offers a supportive environment to grow personally and professionally.

What will you learn on this course?

Did you know that around 70% of people experience anxiety about public speaking?
Love public speaking or loathe it, this course is designed to help you tackle any potential fears and hopefully have some fun along the way!

We begin by creating a comfortable and supportive group dynamic, allowing you to feel at ease while learning and practising new skills. Through fun, engaging exercises and games, you’ll build confidence, break out of your shell, and feel empowered to use your voice.

Through an array of practical exercises, throughout the course, we work on:
•    eye contact
•    structure
•    breath
•    voice,
•    body language
•    improvisation

Each week, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on and develop these skills in a kind, encouraging atmosphere, gradually building your confidence step by step.

Week on week, we refine each element of communication, culminating in a final sharing at the MAC. This gives you the chance to celebrate your progress and share your journey with friends, family, and peers.

This course is a great opportunity to practise honing and refining your voice, helping you feel prepared to speak in front of an audience and ready to apply these skills into the real world!
